Longest time on an AFL/VFL list for the least games?

Big Jonathan Giles will always be the first Giant to 50 games. No one can take that away from him.

He's still with us as a part time ruck coach. Can't escape.

We picked Fraser McInnes at pick 28 in 2011.

He's played a grand total of 14 games since then and is currently on the rookie list. If we retain him for 2019 then by the end of the year he'll be eligible for free agency.

Not to go all Mike Sheahan, but I highly doubt that claim. Three years on the rookie list from 2008, daresay you aren't looking at much over 60k a year (think it was 2010 that Cam Pederson was still working at Bunnings part time to get a bit of extra income). For the seven years after that on the main list can hardly imagine he'd have been upgraded for much more than $100k per annum, particularly given lack of match day payments.

I was about to credit him with a match winning (tying?) goal after leaving Melbourne to join Hawthorn but that was Jack Fitzpatrick, who himself was drafted in 2009 and played 26 games in 8 seasons.
