I reckon this a great initiative from the club.
They really seem to have listened to the feedback they asked for last season in regard to supporter info and accessibility to the players and coaches.

They filter out all the crap DTM. If I go on an optimax-esque rampage and call Cameron Wood history's greatest monster my comments aren't going to be published. I could probably get banned from it too.

The only bad thing is the PUNCHING THE CLOWN sound it makes when chat is updated.

You can turn the sound off in the bottom right corner

Whoever's running it (John Bernard I think) has a choice of whether to publish comments or not. It's not a free for all. It's not live chat like on MSN.

If you have a good question it might show up a few mins later.

I have posted decent questions yet never seen them, even when the preseason games had it no questions came through, could my ip address by blocked by them, if swear word was used once or so? the very first time i tried to post was during the last 30 minutes of live trade on final day, i may have sworn when we missed out on Ball, can't really remember lol

Possibly but unlikely. Could just be bad luck/timing. Last match that was on I didn't get through but this evening had two bites!

Still interesting that even the coaches worry about the Hawks this year...

If you wanna test if your IP has been blocked all you have to do is power cycle your router and you will get issued a new IP, that is unless your IP is static, if that is the case then just ring your isp and get it changed.

Yeh, it was a bit of a nothing event. I remember one question going something like....

Q: "Do you think J Blair is a chance to play an games in 2010?"

A: "We believe Blair is a player who has a large scope for improvement and can eventually become an AFL player, which is why he has been retained"

I realise they have to be careful with what they say, but if that's an example of what they'll be giving away, there's no point in doing it really.

'How will you use x' or 'Who will line up on x' type questions won't be answered just like they don't talk about it in the media

compared to not hearing anything, i think it's a top idea, some people are just greedy
