Hi Everyone,

Just another question on equipping weapons.

I see that in ME2 they have ditched the rating system for each weapon, where you could compare stats between each variant, is this right or am I just missing something?

All I get in ME2 is a description and weapon bonuses, but no comparison.

The more high powered weapon will be the last choice. I.e the Cerberus Shotgun is always last.

I've noticed if you do every mission available before the IFF mission, you can crack level 30 before you even start it. Pretty crazy.

Would consider buying but not at $58 USD

Tbh I'd probably buy that, love those colours anyway.

I can't get the loyalty of both Miranda and Jack. Is there a way to switch classes mid-game and gain full Paragon or do you just have to be a major suck up during the whole game? I always seem to get a little Renegade even when I think I've done the right thing, so how do you get full Paragon?!

Anyway my point is I wont give up until EVERYONE survives but I don't want to play the entire game again, I've already done it twice. The first time Jack died, the 2nd time Miranda died. How do I make them both survive?

Make sure you talk to them both regularly. Yeah you need the full paragon, though I had a few renegade scenes and had enough to cool them both down. Perhaps recruit Jack later then other characters and do her loyalty mission later when your paragon bar is potentially higher.

Where do you actually find the eviscerator? I've downloaded it, and am wearing the armour, should i just be able to select the eviscerator as soon as I'm aboard the Normandy?

Yeah you get the shotgun after downloading it?

I didn't do the Jack mission until almost last, but even then my Paragon is probably only 2/3 full if that. Can I make that up in side missions? If not, how do I know which option is the Paragon one? I got Renegade for helping Liara so I'm very confused.

The first assignment Liara gives you gives you renegade points and the second one gives you Paragon, if you do it correctly. Don't ask me why but thats how they made it.

The Paragon options are almost always in the top right and you get heaps of them for doing the Paragon interrupts. Side missions mostly get you gear and money but you do get morality choices for a some of them. It helps to do all the side missions first before doing the loyalty ones.

The second Liara misson, you tell her not to kill any of them. The correct answer is her secretary is the mole. That gives paragon I believe?

Yeah that's what I meant by doing it properly :p. Not sure why they made one renegade only though.

Looks like I'll be playing through it again lol. Is easier to get full Renegade compared to full Paragon? I seem to do every positive thing that I can and still end up well short of full Paragon.

Does it make a difference if I resolve the dispute early or can I let them have the argument and then come back and fix it when my Paragon or Renegade is full?

The Miranda/Jack dispute is best left til right at the end (so do one of their loyalty quests last) because if you can't fix it the first time, that's it.

Tali/Legion on the other hand... you can pretend to side with Tali, then later tell Legion you were lying to keep her in line, both stay loyal

When I did it I had the "blue" option to cut it short there and then. I think you get one shot. If you're on live there is vids you can watch from IGN titled how to keep everyone alive.

Is that video on XBL or the IGN site?

Both probably, I watched it on the 360 it's in that new community section. There is ME2 tips videos, the one to go for is keeping everyone alive. It will stream so you don't have to worry about downloading it.

If you pick one side instead of the blue paragon option, then you just have to keep talking to one of them and eventually if your paragon is high enough then you'll convince them that you were lying to just to diffuse the situation.

First playthrough i went full paragon, second, full renegade, and both times managed to get both their loyalties and have both survive. Full paragon you cool down the situation, full renegade you basically intimidate them both into a truce.

It's another reason to go either one way or the other and not try to go a bit each way paragon/renegade imo.

Working out the Paragon and renegade choices are generally pretty straight forward, but as others have said, decisions at the top of the convo wheel are generally paragon, bottom ones are renegade. Some choices seem to give you a bit of both regardless of what you do, but it's always generally slanted one direction, paragon or renegade in terms of the points you get.

I didn't find being paragon more difficult to being renegade. I maxed out my paragon bar well before the end of the game when i was trying to do it consciously

IGN posted on their website today that they have learned that BioWare will be releasing more DLC for their epic space-festival of awsomeness, Mass Effect 2. The upcoming DLC will feature a new character, Kasumi, a stealthy vixen of the female persuasion that you will meet at the Citadel. So buy this lovely lady a drink or just lay down your magical rap and perhaps you can get her to join your team!

The Kasumi content will add about an hour and a half of gameplay as well as some new items and you will be able to access it regardless of where you are in the story.

As a matter of note, this DLC marks the first one that BioWare will be charging for – even if you are a member of the Cerberus Network. While there is no indication as to how much BioWare intends to charge for the content, we do know that it will be available for download on April 6thfor Xbox and PC.

Bioware is attacking DLC pretty aggressively. I like it :).
