The pressure will be on ken by the media if we are sitting 3 - 5 after 8 games lets say as an example. The media don't owe ken anything and are just giving their honest opinion on the upcoming season There isnt much between the sides probably sitting 6 - 12 on the ladder which we are a part of. And the fact some of the sides in that group have been up and down like ourselves and some with new coaches you could see how we could easily snatch a spot in the 8. It's not as if we have gone bottom 4 last 2 years we have gone at 50% sure not good enough. But you can see why some comentaters will have us just in the 8 and others will have us j ust outside.

I reckon increased media expectations on our season is actually a good thing re: the sack hinkley campaign.

If everyone was saying we'll finish outside the 8, then it would be easy for the board to hide behind "we're a young team you can't expect much". But if the echo chamber gets loud enough that we should be making finals this year, then hopefully the backlash when we inevitably bottle it gets louder and louder and forces them to act.
