Either way, clubs have to look after their brand and their sponsors. Too big a risk, IMHO.

No-one would take that chance. The potential for damage to sponsors and the playing list would far outweigh any perceived benefit of having a very good player in his late 20's join the club for a few years.

I wouldn't, even if he was put on strict conditions like Didak he would be to big a risk, as someone said gotta take care of the sponsers. Not to mention us who when he stepped out of line would have to put up with the shit eagles supporters are getting now.

A club like collingwood would be a great fit for cousins...as we wouldn't put up with any rubbish and Mcik Malthouse could sought him out.

When you think about it, if given a zero tollerance, i think he had this at the eagles but at a new club maybe it will sink in, would he be a good addition to our list? Would he help our chances at winning a premiership? I don't know, but if and when he steps out of line again do we want the clubs image to get damaged? I think him just being at the club will change a few peoples (and journalists) minds on how they think about the Collingwood Football Club. But does that matter to anyone? Besides sponsers.

A bloke who has been given every chance to get himself together and then (if the theory's are accurate) a week after being pallbearer for a close mate who dies an (allegedly) drug related death, he's arrested for (speculatively) something to do with drugs and/or gangs?

The role model that would set for our young kids?

I don't think any club would be stupid enough to give him another chance. He doesn't appear to get it that he can't do what he want's.

I would definitely wait and see what he has been charged with and if he is guilty before making any judgement.

What if he and Chick have been arrested for bashing the dealer who sold Mainwaring the drugs that killed him?
What would your opinion be then?
