Doubt we'd finish low enough.
I like the look of Tom Scully though.

A friend of mine is an ex AFL footballer and has a bit to do with junior football, he knows a bit about Kane and said he doesnt know if he will make it, because he wont put his head over the ball or do the one percenters.
Guess we will have to wait and see
I admit my memory isn't what it used to be but i don't think it's at the stage where i insert things that didn't happen....yet...lol
I have the game on tape so i will have a look when i get a chance and i was only talking about the one game that i have seen him play.
I didn't make a judgment about his kicking overall but only in the one game i have seen him play.
You see way more of them than me so i am happy to bow to your better knowledge.....but i will be checking the tape![]()
Here's a question for Ant if you see it, is Hartlett much quicker than Ziebell? You draft profiles seem to indicate he is and that he has better skills than Ziebell, which is what I would go with if we went with a mid and Hartlett was available. But I have also heard others say Hartlett isn't really that much faster than Ziebell, if at all.
I like Ziebell's strength around clearances and his over head marking but if Hartlett is noticably faster and classier I'd prefer him if he fell to us (which may not be likely). Ziebell could be good or he could just be a reasonably paced utility and we already have enough slower players.
Just wondering if there is a noticable difference in speed between them?
I didnt think my draft profiles indicated that Hartletss skills where better. From memory i think i said both have excellent skills.
If you had the choice between the two, is there one that you would prefer over the other?Hartlett has him done for pace reasonably easily.
Ziebell is not all that quick. He has reasonable 20 meter pace but he is not a player that takes blokes on with a bounce. He is more of a James Hird type midfielder. Strong mark, good when the ball is in his area and good vision. hurt's sides with his disposal rather than pace.

Through watching limited vision of Ziebell I definitely agree with ant that he has that Hird model about him. The overhead ability plus the uncanny clearance work brings back some good memories. The hair is pretty similar too plus the neat socksIf you had the choice between the two, is there one that you would prefer over the other?

If Ziebell's footskills are a lot better than Hartletts I'd prefer him, we are really lacking in this department with the exception of Mcveigh, Lovett and maybe Myers we don't have enough midfielders with elite kicking skills.
Well they are not a lot better. Both are very good .
I would not say lovett had great foot skills. He can miss just as many targets as a few others in our side.
IMO Lovett's execution is pretty good, but his decision making is lazy. BTW Whats Harlett's overhead marking like?
When is the draft camp?
Out of all the footage I've seen Hartlett has impressed me the most.
I'd probably lean towards taking him with our first pick if available.
