Michael Johnson stats:
3 kicks
4 handballs
1 mark
2 clangers
8 lack of efforts
50 finger points.

I see on the afl match ups he's listed to play on Lake at FF.
Playing as a FF with shut a down role would be interesting to say the least.
He should be fine as a defensive forward having played as a defender, but I'd prefer Mayne lining up alongside Lake.

Who can come in and play that role?
Who can come in and play that role?
I like Keplar and McPhee where they are... the only other option I could see is to bring in JA and move Kep or Adam out of the position they are in.
So answer the question instead of bagging him out.
If the team list reads Out: Johnson.. who is the In?
A lot of people on BF are happy to just bag players left right and centre but can't seem to come up with logical inclusions for the players.
Who comes in for Johnson vs. Richmond that can play his role.
How about a cross between a pea and a clothes peg.
Has used up his get out of jail cards, no heart whatsoever.

Johnsons Role? What is Johnsons role?
It appears his role is to criuse around at half speed point in the direction where if he thinks he will kick it and then if he hasn't fumbled it change his mind 3 times then grubber it to where he pointed to but wait he has changed his mind again and can't remember where he pointed to![]()
There, my son, you have captured the single question that best encapsulates the wondrous veil of purple pondering that occurs every round of every season for the last 7 years.
Seriously, apart from the pointing, what does he do??
And, for that matter, what does the pointing mean??
Oh if only we had the Yoda of MJ to explain it all for us mere mortals...
And, I mean, it isn't like we haven't had the umm.. slightly odd player in the past. Between Clive, Scotty Thornton and Big Kep, we've had three of the strangest going around. Yet, I think we've all understood that they were each trying their guts out, and trying to play a specific role in the team. Without pointing. Whereas MJ???

Well I thought it was one of his better games. He didn't put a foot wrong in most cases. won some one on one contests and released some runners under the crunch in the last qtr.
