Put them all together and what do you get?
Oh, I voted Mitchell out of these three.
Your a squeezer... SAM MITCHELL is twice the player McLean is and always will be. You mustn't rate your youngsters much if you keep jerkin off over McLean.
lol someone gete this guy some glasses
He will be a player in the mould of Haselby or say Bell. If you like maybe a Scott Thompson..
I can't stand it how people underrated the term "champion". You have NFI. McLean is a better chance of ending up as a champion. Mitchell will forever be remembered as a king extractor, but unfortunately he will also be remembered as being fairly close to one dimensional. Two dimensional if he is lucky. Players like McLean and Cross have a lot more strings to their bow than Pretty Boy Mitchell.Well I don't know if you saw another one of my threads where I stated that Melbourne have the best youngsters. IMO they do. But you give me the sheetes the way you over-rate McLean.
McLean is an A grade player no doubt and I would love him at the Hawks but he is not in the elite and never will be.

Sam Mitchell however is a champion and probably will win a brownlow some day.
Get your hand off it.
Mitchell is a surpeme ball winner and has improved his running game to be more damaging. Is still developing his game. Is a star.
Quite easy really. He has been on the record as saying he has been working on his speed, and his hurting of opposition teams. He had alot more run in his game this year, tried to carry the ball and not just be the guy who goes in and gets it.How is he a star if he's stilld eveloping?
Poor argument. You bag others for underating McLean but continually underate players you compare him to in order to prove your point. How is he a star if he's stilldeveloping?
don't get me wrong, he's awesome at what he does and imo the best player in this list - but he doesn't hurt teams like McLean does and he doesn't seem to influence matches in hawthorn's favour no matter how many touches he gets.
I guarantee you, any game McLean got 35 touches in Melbourne would win
