Sydney: Goodes, the arrogant ugly lairizing SOB
West Coast: Philip Matera. Nowhere near as good as his brother (at his best), seems to think he is
Western Bulldogs: Libba's retired now, hasn't he

Corey was over the ball, and it was the only way Voss could have outright won the ball. As Voss said, he actually didn't hit him overly hard, just got him in the wrong spot. If you watch the replay you'll see there was nothing other that attempt to knock Corey off the ball, so Voss could take possession. The fact that Voss got booed for the remainder of the game says a lot about Geelong fans!

The fact that a perfectly good bump like that does not appear to be acceptable at Catland probably says about why they have the reputation of handbaggers as well.

Out and out champion. Jack Cahill (AFL Hall of Fame member), used to say Wanganeen was the quickest player over 15 metres he had EVER seen. Premiership player. Brownlow medallist. All Australian in a back pocket AND in a forward pocket. The guy is a complete freak of a footballer, and is virtually first-picked in Essendon or Port's teams of century. Anyone who has watched him regularly would know this.

As for Anthony (heart the size of the galaxy) Stevens, I know how much you shinboners love him, but I do not. He's quite small. His skills are good, but not outstanding. Quite courageous, but so he bloody well should be. What else does this most-overrated-player of the century have going for him??

Don't fret.

They play a "type" of football down there. The only reason they continue to follow their basket case, is that Geelong just happen to follow this "type" of footy to the letter.

The major rule change being, you can't actually "touch" the other team. No tackling, bumping, pushing scaring etc. What you and I think is a good bump, is actually against their rules, and frowned upon in that really scary, unique to a country town sort of way.

As PAgan said at his testimonial, Stevo has averaged 21.7 disposals a game for his entire career.

I really don't think someone who thinks Anthony Stevens is immensly overrated deserves an in-depth argument. You either haven't seen him play, you are having a laugh, or footy really shouldn't be a priority in your mental state.

Were you at the Port v North game in round 1? Did you look away for all of his 20 posessions and 11 tackles in one half, in his first game back, after 10 months off, after a knee reconstruction?

You crap on about Wanganeen and then say that Stevo is small? You idiot.

Stevo is the greatest 1% player ever to play the game. He is a goalkicker as well, he always gives North plenty of drive from the middle. Great player.

Stevo is under-rated IMO.

Your miserable slug of a side will do nothing this year. The fact that you account for 2 of our 4 total losses for the season is an anomaly, and in the unlikely event that we meet in the finals, your first loss to us will be the most merciless crushing in your history.
