Murphy vs Cooney vs Deledio

i would prefer deledio and murphy over cooney but this is just because i love the way they play. I think murphy will finish his career as the best then deledio then cooney, but all will be champions.

Dal Santo, Hodge taken in the same year of Judd? If including players only in years following Judd, he's arguably the best performing youngster - but that would only be because he is physically developed, and he's only had one very good year. I'd imagine there'd be a more than few who would overtake him in coming years.

OK, Dal Santo was taken after Judd (albeit very shortly, but still after) and is better. Cooney, Goddard I'd have around the same level as Mclean. Franklin another, although lacking consistency, will almost definitely be better. Not to mention, players like Murphy, in their first/second years, or players yet to debut, having been picked up this season. Than of course, there's Walker, who will show why he was picked in front of Mclean.

RJ has stated that all players are diff (believe it or not), some kick on quite quick, some not as quick.

I wouldn't be shocked, as someone said earlier his 2006 was actually pretty good it's just as a player in teh wrowst side in the comp it's hard to get much respect.

I was certainly paying attention thogh and yeah I reckon his year was good enugh to show at least he'll be a player.

Mclean has potential, and was excellent this season, but lacked a bit of consistency. Yes you can, it's simple - you look at who has done what, and proclaim teh one who's done the most as being the best.

Of course someone else can overtake him, its football and we can't predict the future but as you said, to date, McLean is the best youngster so far since Judd.

Definitely one of the best, top 3 - but I wouldn't say he's indisputably the best. I rate Dal Santo higher than him.
