I'd say around a 3rd - getting dropped late in the season is never good for someone's value. I could see him going for a pick in the 40s or so in a normal year, no idea how clubs will value picks this year given the draft could be shorter

Dont know if his value increases or decreases to be honest , The only suitor looks to be GC and if thats the case he either leaves for more money or stays and accepts what Tigers offer him which would most likely be around the $300k mark

This is laughable. 3rd round? He's hardly missed a game in the last 3 years in the best performing team. I wouldn't let him go for anything less than a 2nd rounder.

$5 says Broad is picked again this week and towels up a much bigger opponent > likely Taberner.

Roughead won a flag with the Dogs, and was traded at 27 years old for Pick 75 because he was out of the side. Reckon Broad gets much value now he's been dropped twice?

Markov has taken his spot for some reason. Broad a great shut down defender but offers little rebound. Seems they prefer to sacrafice his defending for Markov's run and carry.

Seems very odd to me.

Writing may well be on the wall being dropped again. I think he is very good player. Tough as nails. Not sure if they have issues with him off the field ? He is worth more than a 3rd round pick. If a club got him for that it would be robbery.

Having seen the eagles take 100 marks against the Saints defence last night if I was St Kilda I would be making serious inquiries.

I wouldn't hold it against him to be honest. Came in as a mature age recruit (was 22 I think?) and helped us win 2 flags. He's 27 now and probably only has one decent crack at a big pay day before his career winds down and there'd be multiple clubs that can offer a fair bit more coin than us. Best mates with Brandon Ellis too.

Very strange call and every Richmond supporter i know loves the bloke and what he brings to the game

I personally cant fault his games and does his job perfectly as a 3rd tall that usually plays taller and never get badly beaten and usually wins his position

I think he has told the club he has an offer which we cant match or wont match and is seen as gone and the club want to get games into his replacement that looks like it will be Markov

Gold Coast is the word but who knows , Value i would be hoping for a 2nd rounder

Last few years Richmond have been getting very little value tradewise for the good players we are letting go. Stengle, Butler, Lloyd, Ellis and now Broad.

I remember when Hawks were at their peak how envious I was at the great picks they'd get for fringe players. We have to lift our game in this department.
