Did a great job for a half, sadly he was bent over in that third quarter.

Interesting that he is getting tagging jobs though, I don't really want to lose his ability around the clearances (which invariably will occur if his number one priority is stopping his opponent).

he was moved off him after Ablett went forwards and it didn't look like he was put back on him in the second half

Seems like a clever idea. Not sure if it is common within the AFL, but it would certainly help the first year players to build some confidence and comraderie (sp?) away from the rest of the group. Good to see Moloney and Sylvia involved as leaders.

Wouldn't surprise me.

Cheney would be more of a like-for-like however.

I would expect to see Cheney come in after a strong performance in the VFL, assuming Grimes doesn't get across the line. As much as I hate to say it, I don't think the club view Valenti as someone who will be in the side for the long-term, and I'm not totally against that viewpoint.
