News NEAFL Round 9: Eastlake V GWS Giants

Saturday 2pm @ Manuka Oval. A Giant game for Canberran Josh Bruce playing against his old club, Eastlake, for the first time. He will also play against his brother, Aaron Bruce (On the Swans rookie list a few years ago) too. A Giant game for Folau too after his impressive 4 goals last week. Lot's of people will be expecting him to back it up.

Eastlake will be out to re-deem themselves after choking in the last quarter where Tuggers kicked 7 goals to 3 and got over the by 4 points. Eastlake will be badly looking for a win because loosing another game and going 1-5 will not look very good. It will be Stafford Cooper's 250th first grade game for AFL Canberra. Well done SC.

The Giants will be looking to leapfrog Ainsile with a consistent performance throughout the match and try and jump into the Top 2. In a lot of games this year the Giants have gone through half a quarter patches during the game where the other team dominates and scores a lot of goals on us. If we can put a consistent 4 quarter effort in and win I'll be rather happy.
