they've got the thickness right, but I reckon it would look better if the "G" was a little bit smaller.

I would actually like to see what that would look like. I think a lot of people judge a jumper on what it looks like in a close up photo. For me it's more important for it to look good on field and on tv. I think the new design is a big improvement in that aspect.

You know they've already had the solid G design in many training jumpers over the years right? But nothing was as popular as the outlined G because it's an original look. I also like the solid G one too but for some reason they never went with it a few years back.
