Does anyone know what the Under Armor Hexagon thing is on the right hand side of the Essendon sash?
I would imagine it's some sort of "Official Under Armor product" thing, but I'd be happy to take a closer look.
I've remade it into a PNG I can send you when I get home from work if you'd like

I wonder if CGU would be quietly chuffed with the amount of free advertising they've received since giving up the Collingwood sponsorship. It's been a sloppy handover to say the least – I know Nike is partly to blame, but jeez. How is Josh Daicos still wearing 2020 ISC shorts in February 2022?!

What I want know is who won the Daicos battle?

Nothing particularly earth shattering but there's the back of the guernsey with an ironed on (of course) KFC logo.

Fortunate enough to be the cameraman for that intraclub game and had the very jumpers in our operations room. From an angle, the KFC logo looks pink. Also spoke with a staff member, they reckon in 1-2 weeks they'll be coming in. Also heard since the Nike deal they tried switching back to the classic white top & black shorts

Not sure if it's just the lighting but the colours look very "washed out" on those jumpers.
Yeah it's my camera, it tends to brighten darks a lot

so our new jumpers, training wear should be here in 2 weeks? nice! thanks for the intel.

That Harves photo is pretty iconic (at least amongst saints fans) so i rate this.

Having said that, $60 is a bit steep for a ******* tee shirt.
I absolutely agree. Call me a grumpy old man, but clubs have gotten really greedy with merchandise. I have the original in a sleeveless version, but as much as I want the update, I refuse to spend that much on 1 t-shirt

Another team puts their logo on the breast. The doors St Kilda has opened.
Yeah but it's bizarre because that the logo placement seems natural for the Bombers, but for the Saints still looks awkard due to it being below the sponsor. Collingwood have been doing it right since about 2019 or so, Port since 2010. I know it's heritage (50s/60s) but they should just flip the logo placement and put it above Pepper, which i think they were doing until 08 or something

tbh as nice as some of our merchandise was with nike i hope we get a new manufacturer come 2023. Preferably a manufacturer that doesn't wait till February to release new jumpers

AFL website still using old Essendon Logo, does this mean a revert back in 12 months, I am sure they used Collingwood's anniversary logo a couple of years back.

It's meant to be just a milestone logo, their new facilities also have the standard Bomber logo all over them

yup, according to the club it's not going to be replacing the '97 Bomber logo in 2023, however the club also registered a version of the logo sans the 150 years wording...
All around it's just been a very Essington way of handling a logo change, which also isn't a new logo it's just taking the place of the real logo... in a totally unofficially official way that does not usurp the real logo...

Port were adamant they were going to return to their old logo, but did change the logo on their building. I don't think they will make the official logo the 150th straight away atleast, odd using the old logo on new buildings if they are just going to change it.

Seems to be the case.
Nike rarely changed up templates and collars, often sticking with the same one for a good few years

For better and worse
