Bundoora v Hurstbridge - Lots of talk about both sides off season. Bulls really cannot afford to drop this but Bridges will be looking to bounce back after last week. Should be a ripper.
Banyule v Heidelberg - Upset here, Bears shaping up as clear finals contenders and on their own deck I am tipping an upset.
WPL v Macleod - No Club wants to be 0-3. One will be after this and then become fighting all year to survive. Already whispers of possible walkaways from both Clubs if they dont find a W soon.
North Heidelberg v Greensborough - Slime are on fire and seems Dogs still finding their feet for 2024. Another close one I think with a kick either way to decide it.
Eltham v Montmorency - Upset, again I go with heart not head but its just what I do. Traditionally the ANZAC game has been a huge one with a massive crowd between these two Clubs and I look forward to that again. The service pregame will be perfectly done again and set the tone for a great game.
Laurimar v South Morang - Calling the Lions early Premiers is not silly, they look the complete package at the moment and makes Div 2 finals look exciting even this early. Comfortable win here.
Watsonia v Panton Hill - Redbacks not overly disgraced in their loss last week but have only beaten the Cougers. Watsy had a decent crack against SM but shocker last week. A loss here and finals are not an option. Should be an entertaining tight game.
Lower Plenty v St Marys - Looks like LP have proved some wrong as they play for 4th spot here. Looks like they have a team that needs a bigger ground not their postage stamp however.
Thomastown v Whittlesea - Another upset but if the Bears don't knock off one of the top 3 then they are going to have the same season they seem to always have. Must win at home.
Diamond Creek v Northcote Park - Cricket score. I fear the reserves could be even more a smashing, not sure where the cougers are as a Club but the season is going to be a long one.
Fitzroy v Reservoir - Stars but stallions to stay in game for a while.
Mernda v Epping - Pingers to bounce back in a game that could be repeated in finals at some stage.
Heidelberg West v Kinglake - Hope to see something from West but Lakers to snatch an away W.
Kilmore v Old Paradians - Kilmore would have had a tough week on the track but OPs going along nicely.
Old Eltham v Lalor - The emotion of last week will not be enough to stop the turtles to continue on their winning season.
