Lots of people comparing him to Paddy RyderDefinitely a KPF in time, like JUH patience will be required.
Worth noting how clean Isaac is below the knees for a tall gangly lad still growing into his body.
huge SA v metro game at Geelong next week will likely decide the title IMO
U16 SA thumped Vic Country yesterday.I thought they were playing SA?

Thought you'd be watching the WWT ressies game on currently with both Phillipou and D'Alioa playing, Phillipou the better of the two up to half time but just OK so far.U16 SA thumped Vic Country yesterday.

I find the analysis of juniors really interesting.Watching him today. Looks overweight.
Sure. I clarified my point that maybe he can get on top of it with an AFL fitness department.I find the analysis of juniors really interesting.
If I see someone having the impact and moving around like keeler AND think he looks a bit flabby I'm all in. This says to me, imagine what he could be if put into a proper fitness program under Burgess, this also says to me that this kids ceiling is very high given what he can currently do and these deficiencies.
I'm more worried when I see a fit looking kid, but still lacking agility and mobility, but playing ok, ie McAsey.
I'm all about the ceiling when I look at drafting though.
I guess I see opportunity where you are riskSure. I clarified my point that maybe he can get on top of it with an AFL fitness department.
I hope he does and becomes a star.
But right now it's a part of the risk profile.
Does anyone have any footage of this? Connor is a giant compared to his dad from memory?Well done Connor
We have burnt enough draft picksI guess I see opportunity where you are risk
Not disagreeing with you there, but I think it's because we haven't got the balance right and put too much emphasis on exposed junior form as opposed to the potential in a professional system AND we have a "type". We do better at the later rounds because we apply the logic we should be applying to the first round. We have burnt enough draft picks
WWT website has him at 184cm compared to Andrew who was 181cm. Only an inch difference.Does anyone have any footage of this? Connor is a giant compared to his dad from memory?
Ok I was under the impression he was much bigger. What position does he play?WWT website has him at 184cm compared to Andrew who was 181cm. Only an inch difference.
Hes a midOk I was under the impression he was much bigger. What position does he play?
In reality only 5 and 23
Winnable games against Hawks, Pies at AO?, WCE in Perth?, Norf at AO and finish off with the Showdown, with Port out of finals contention you'd think. Win two or more and we could rise another couple of places.
So those two picks are it, in a draft dripping with desirable SA talent in the top 25.
This where we may need to be bold if we don't want our sputtering rebuild to go on forever. We should seriously look at trading out our first and second next year (some AFL rules about this would need to be worked around) if we have the possibility of securing another two of those talents this year.
Unfortunately we have no hope of getting Brisbane's first as they need more picks this year to pay for likely top 3 Ashcroft and later on Fletcher. But a team like Gold Coast who have a truck load of picks 8, 26, 32, 34 plus this year may find it tempting to defer a big draft haul until next year as they already have a heap of talented kids struggling to get games. Might even be able to swap 8 for our 2023 first?
Think outside the square is the way to go, leave no stone unturned
When has this ever worked. The other option, more conservative option, is trying to trade down our first this year.
With Essendon (possibly Hawthorn too) winning today, pick 3 could be back on the table. A pick that high might give us the trade down option and still keep next year's first.
When has this ever worked.
And netted us a spud in McAsey. Pedlar is trending to bust too.The 2019 trade down which got us an extra pick which we used on Pedlar. There's probably others examples.

Keep the high Picks.
I emailed the club on 20 July 2021 and asked if Michelanney was on the radar as a f/s. I got an auto reply and no response.
Max joined the Crows’ academy this year after player manager Peter Rohde alerted the club to his eligibility.
