Won't discuss ins just yet as the reserves play tomorrow but the outs on the other hand....

Petrenko - **** off forever please, that play on and miss from straight in front was the most disgusting thing I have seen on the field. 7th year on the list and shown nothing.
Thompson - Was subbed off in the second and should not play
Kerridge - Poke in the eye and was still struggling to see in the last from reports so a possible week off
Grigg - Has an adductor strain apparently, things going from bad to Caroline Wilson :(

A few on notice as well such as Reilly and Wright.

Grigg injured an abductor too according to reports. Hopefully he can get up but if not

Outs
Grigg- does nice things, very nice in fact, just not enough. Injury makes it easier to explain.
Thommo- was going just OK before getting hurt
Pets- Im sorry, never again EVER.

Ins
Cameron- Hes skilful with a footy brain. Isnt ready but who cares.
Lyons- If he doesn't get an extended run now he never will.
Knight- Ill say it again he provides something most of our team dont and thats run and spread.

Id hope that guys like Atkins and CEY push too. Hartigan showed he has a future today, give others a crack and see what they're made of

Someone who can 'run and carry' as the sub

All suggested outs were simply embarrassing.
 
I'm not going to make another long winded post in the changes thread.

All I hope for is that our selections show some evidence of long term planning/vision. I don't know why they brought in Petrenko when it seemed like he was out of favour through preseason and not doing much in magoo trials. But surely to make such a selection shows that they are willing to overlook form as they see him as an important player in our future.

Now I think that judgement ****ing sucks but at least it would indicate they have some kind of vision for the team that they're trying to build towards.

If they drop him this week then they're a bunch of goldfish swimming around in circles.

Wait for an injury report, but as a minimum, Petrenko needs to be a permanent out & Lyons must come in.

I would also bring back McKernan as a 3rd tall forward assuming he is over his concussion.

... but this is only trimming around the edges, as we need to fix our game plan, fitness & general attitude (ie. want our 2012 desperation back).

**** me dead, one of the few who can hold his head high in the first three games and he's got a potentially very serious eye injury by the sounds of it.

when things are going against you they really go against you don't they:(

you know that might actually be crazy enough to work... interesting idea. He has been pretty effective further up the ground in the past while rucking, crashing packs on the wing and penetrating zones with his big kicks. Why not leave him there hey?

Exactly. Basketball background makes him used to those hectic congested situations. He's clearly not a forward's arseh*le but he has incredible unique attributes...that speed combined with that height, strength and agility would be a shame to waste. He would thrive in there I reckon.

Wow.. Completely disagree.

I have been Pods' biggest critic in his games at Adelaide so far, but he was far from our worst today. Infact, he played well. He certainly did enough today to keep his spot. His first two games stank, but if he can continue to play like he did today and improve, he will do well until Tex is back.

For me, the change would be Petrenko out for Cameron. Can't think of anyone else to chuck in, or take out. They're all as out of form as each other. Perhaps Lyons or LJ in?
