Dogs need to hire Bob Myers ASAP.

Kerr and the players are the reason players are convinced to sign there for way under value.

Don’t get me wrong Myers has made some very good decisions (firing Jackson, hiring Kerr probably the best two) but at this point he’s playing with a stacked deck.

This is ridiculous. I’m not even surprised any more.

Probably doesn’t really matter too much, Warriors were probably a 90% chance to win next year anyway. Now it’s probably 95%. Maybe the move causes some tension and Durant ends up going to the Knicks next free agency and we’ll finally see some competition again.

Will be an interesting move for Cousins though. His two options to get paid next season were too either a) sign a one year deal and be a stat pad at a bad team or b) sign with a good team on the cheap, put up good numbers in limited minutes and prove he can be a good teammate for once. Once the Mavs signed Jordan the options for the a scenario really dried up and I guess if you’re going to ring chase for a year you may as well go somewhere where that’s going to happen.

Haven’t liked the media spin that’s been put on this that the Warriors were the only team that put an offer in and it’s the fault of the 29 other teams that this has happened. It’s like the third day of free agency and a number of teams had expressed interest. It’s just bollocks from the Cousins and Warriors PR to try and make this look different than what it is.

Without trying to play it down, as a dubs fan, it’s not a massive game changer.

We have absolutely no problem putting the ball in the basket. We need our centres to be able to switch on to guys like harden, kyrie, Paul. Cousins, coming of an Achilles, isn’t going to help much in this regard.

His best defensive asset will be his rebounding, but we’re going to see him on an island a lot against small guards.

Almost as well as a locker room of Rondo, Lonzo, LeBron, Stephenson and Javale McGee :rainbow:
Haha true but Lakers aren't gonna achieve shit (unless they somehow get Leonard). If Cousins blows up the locker room at GSW it could have a real impact. Very unlikely but will be interesting to watch nonetheless.

Only in SacTown....

Phoenix should have gone after Marcus Smart with their cap instead of Ariza IMO. They need a point guard, they need defence, they need a winner, and he complements their shooters nicely.

Appreciate Ariza was only a 1 year deal, but Smart makes long term sense for them.

Sac need wings. Ariza made more sense for them IMO.

Hello from sunny Lake Louise. How's the weather in Melbourne town?

The only thing that will ever top this place in terms of shear and outrageous ridiculousness is a Donald Trump rally speech.

Moraine Lake is better though ;)

I couldn't say. After seeing any number of lakes (glacial and otherwise) between Jasper and Banff and being told that Moraine was closed to all traffic (they expected 8-10k for the day!) other than the costly shuttle. I chose to go for a guided half-day hike up to the peak of Lake Louise's ski resort instead. The guys that Im travelling with thought that to be a terrible idea and took the punt and drove to Moraine anyway and in their view found Moraine to be a little underwhelming and of course way too crowded.

It’s smaller so if it was quite crowded it would probably not be the best in that regard, but the views from the top of the rock pile just can’t be beaten

Went to Dunedin over the weekend , watched my first live Union game Highlanders v Rebels.
Gotta say it was pretty good.
One thing that stood out , the aesthetics are so much better with only the players and one umpire on the ground.
No runners , water boys and you need to have a near death experience before the doc runs out.
They are some tough hombres !
