Damn I didn't know about the farewell event at Subi Oval today. Last opportunity to visit it before demolition in July.
Apart from the increased capacity, being newer and more leg room, I still preferred Subi to Optus in many ways. Views were generally better with less obstructions in most of the stadium, and it doesn't take as long to get back to the train station from the stadium.

The beautiful thing about Fremantle is all they care about is beating us. If we dropped the derby but won the flag, they’d still take it as a win. Losses like this will always happen because they’d rather beat the Eagles than be successful. God bless them.
