I love(d) Carlton supporters telling GWS supporters how good SOS is/was.

We knew the truth. The scary thing is imagine GWS with one or two of Stringer, Macrae or Wines, plus Zak Jones, plus De Goey and Wright.

I think they wanted to purchase the top shelf options but the sales lady just said 'they're very expensive' and that they should leave.

Of course if you had options why would you pick Carlton over Pies/Dons/Tigers etc ... no clout, no prospects, no blockbusters, tainted heritage, no perceptible plan on or off field, dead man walking coach, boring uniform, having to respect Murphy ... hmm and that was without having to think about it!
