Heeney had a freak year and a freak final against GWS. He got us over the line in a number of games, including that big game v Collingwood. Covered up weaknesses that finally got exposed when he got injured early in GF. Not that we would have won of course. Also, we had a good run injury wise during H and A season. Happy to be wrong, but their midfield runs deeper than us, especially with Mills and Gulden out.But we weren't. We got very lucky beating them in the Final off the back of a ridiculous performance from Heeney, and those regular season games were maybe the first two comfortable wins we've had against them in some time. Or are we seriously trying to argue that the same group of players are some seasons suddenly better players than ours and sometimes suddenly worse players than ours off the back of a direct h2h record? As if there aren't so many other factors go into deciding the result of an individual game?
Crazy indeed.
The point wasn't that the Giants as a club/team are better than us, it was that those individual names would walk into our side which was absolutely right.
Are Stringer and hogan back next week?
2-3 weeks for each. Hogan the only loss there. Are Stringer and hogan back next week?

Finn Callaghan is a very, very good AFL player.
I’ve never paid any attention to him before - but wow.
P Cripps will end up with votes in this round.Don’t stress Daicos will still get 3 votes somehow
Cmon caesar88 theres gotta be some envy. Their list is better than ours. They just struggle to make it count like we do.We went two weeks deeper into September than GWS last year and went 3-0 against them. Sure, it's a new year, but the hyperbole that we should somehow be envious of them has started already.
Pick 28 in 2017 draft. We had 14 that year.......**** me taylor is some sort of player
