Ottens vs Lade

Who do you think is the better ruckman/forward. Personally, I think Lade performs better in the forward line than Ottens, but maybe Ottens shades him as far as rucking goes. Not sure...

well the form lade is in atm, he is just about the best ruckmen in the afl at the moment, he is in brownlow form
and ottens...his only played a couple of good games so far

Ottens is a better player overall, while Lade is more consistently healthy, and is in career-best form at the moment.

I'd still take Ottens - I think if King and Ottens stay healthy, Geelong will be premiers...

im a tiger fan too and think BO is quality....not in the same ball park as lade though. Best ruckmen in the league at the moment.

Lade hands down. The way he pushes forward, hustles back to help out his backline is just palpable. His work rate - simply impeccable. He's having as good a season as Dean Cox, which is saying something. Lade has to be up there for the Brownlow at this point, whereas Ottens is just getting healthy and even if he was at 100% is still not in the same league as Lade.

Now I don't know about you, but someone clearly has the better stats. I know stats mean little these days but such a margin is a worry. According to this year Lade beats him both in the forwardline and ruck so go figure.

Ottens had ordinary stats even at Richmond. I don't know how Ottens would beat Lade at Geelong.
