They have a revolting habit of turning a turd into an ingot.
In gymnastic parlance they call it a 'Reverse Barry Mitchell'.

Don't agree with this Dram at all.
First things first Laidler was a rock in defense for us...ideal third tall. Injured through our mismanagement, he should rightly expect an opportunity to win his spot back. Instead he see's Bootsma sent out like a lamb to the slaughter, and McInnes persevered with when seriously labouring late in the season. He's come through the Geelong system...he's no wide eyed rookie.
I like that he had the gumption to go to MM and fight for his spot, but I can see that MM wouldn't.
Swans fans seem like a easily pleased bunch on their board. One suggested a Laids for Everitt straight swap.

@6PRSportsToday: Vozzo says Andrejs Everitt is only a silly chance to join the club + they haven't decided on Dom Sheed at all #goeagles #afl
Carlton is making a strong bid for Sydney's Andrejs Everitt, having offered him more money and - the Blues believe - more opportunities to cement a position, with Everitt understood to be weighing up a move to Carlton or staying at Sydney. The Swans insist that Everitt is still a required player and want to keep him.

Duigan EF was pretty special. Laughed about how they just grabbed him from the stands while he was eating subway. Sad that Mclean didn't get to play in the final though since he deserved it.
Neither showed up the following week vs Swans.
Remember that the Saints are offering him 800k per year for 4 years.
I read that in a article in August.Surely you are taking the piss
Brisbane has received some rare good news with Brent Staker about to sign a new two-year deal.

He had spoken to Carlton as the Blues stood firm on their policy of one-year deals for veterans.

In theory it's easy. For ectomorphs like Boots (and myself), it is hard, but he should be doing better. I gained 8kgs one pre-season (over 16 weeks), stopped weights for less than 2 months and dropped 5 and a half kg's (went from 67kgs to 70kgs. Yeah, that skinny). I still gained 3 kgs of muscle whilst working a full-time job and not having time to fully prepare proper meals.
If your job was to gain weight and get paid for it you should gain at least 5 or 6 over the pre-season. But it's not that easy to get 'stacked'.
West to head north as Lions restore some pridewith the Lions set to acquire premiership ruckman Trent West from Geelong,
I like the part that we've offered Everitt more money than Sydney. I guess our cap isn't bursting after we signed Thomas forI particularly liked this part:
