Who is the better player?

I would take Pavlich over Brown.

And where am I bashing him on this thread, exactly?

I made no derogatory comment.
I made no attempt to lower his ability and skill.
I did not even mention his very name.

All I did was answer the poll. Hell, I've even praised him numerous times in other threads (and if you don't believe me I'll give you some links) ... in fact I've never stooped so low as to call him "crap" or "no good" like you'd let on to believe (because he's not). My views on him you know already, but they're not views that bash him as a player per se, they question his reputation and output compared to some of the other better players/forwards in the competition.

Just because I believe a player is overrated, does not mean that is exactly the same as saying he's no good. Remember that next time you mouth off at me. BTW, saying Pavlich is better should be no slight on Brown either.

Brown. Pav is a great home and away player but a bit of a front runner in that he tends to struggle when Freo do. On the other hand, Brown lifts Brissie when they are struggling. Brown starting to get games consistently under his belt now after injuries for past 2 years or so.

Brown is still only about half a dozen goals behind Pav this year and has yet to really get going. Now that his body appears to be right, watch him dominate the last part of the season. Hopefully, he has no setbacks for the rest of his career because if he gets a full pre-season and season under hsi belt consistently, wow - watch out.

PS - Pav is a terrific player. I don't mean to sound like I'm running him down but I don't think he can impose himself when needed as Brown does.
