I actually don't think that news grab tells us anything, it's just an assumption. The club knows it will get offers and especially from the SA clubs, so it would make no sense to adopt any position other than "we are drafting him" even if it wasn't certain.

The Crows would need to somehow get GWS and pick 2 involved though you'd think.

I agree, even more so Euge Snoz and the boys are playing this beautifully by not contacting him.

Perhaps your intel of not having been interviewed is in part because we don't want to commit to the kid, have it known and then have offer cease.

I am not saying trade pick 1 BTW. I think that Horne-Francis in what I have seen looks spectacular.

However if we got ridiculous offers (I am talking 3 top 10 picks or higher) then that sort of offer needs to be seriously considered. I mean this kid looks a genuine elite talent, but 3 top 10 picks would be able to put high end talent on any line we feel is missing it.
