Footballers that are used to having lots of attention all the time responding to having no attention for a while by trying to draw attention through looking different.

Yeah thought it would have something to do with drawing attention to themselves. Can’t be because they think it looks good. Jaspers haircut is shocking.

‘Bring your JobKeeper down kids, I’d like to build more pubs with pokies’ thanks Roo!

Would the Alma survive without the pokies?

I have a deep and unhealthy hatred of this man. The smug vacant look that comes so naturally to him grinds my gears.

Smokes, oil.... the list goes on....
High court took that away from the states in 1997 so that's why they became even more dependent on pokie taxes.

Board member of club whose players breached mandatory self isolation rules and social distancing rules declares it is safe to reopen pubs that he owns.

Surely SAPOL will grant the Alma an exemption.

So when Eddie wants to play the long game as he calls it for an issue dear to his heart, does he see the irony on Port not being allowed to wear the PB's?

Chris Scott on Jack Steven:

“I get the feeling that people would want to roll some of the previous issues that Jack has had into this current situation and I would caution against that.”

Um, Chris...
Cant be related, he got to geelong, it magically undid all of his other issues because geelong is a strong and 'recently' successful team.

Yep. He's fine, completely fine.

About 45% of that figure goes to state and territory government treasuries. They are addicted to pokie taxes.
The disadvantage of the Federal government raises most of the taxes and the States get most of their's second hand. With the GST supposedly the States tax (but distributions at the Feds will across %'s for each state), States are only left with regressive taxes, as none have the balls to campaign on broadening the base of the GST. Pokies taxes are at least taking a slice of ill gotten gains, which is better than sheer idiocy like Payroll taxes and Stamp duty that discourage the hiring and easy movement of people within and across states. With the need to bring down from a high unemployment figure Payroll tax should be first on the list of all taxes to go.

I like how the siren goes way too early. Just like a fixed SANFL game.

I had a dream that we were playing Glenelg in the Grand Final and Glenelg were a point up in the last quarter and Boyd Woodcock was running into an open goal but the siren went...only 19 minutes in.

I think at Norwood Oval we were up by a goal and Neade was running in for an open goal and kicked it. Then apparently the siren went and they disallowed the goal even though nobody heard it.

How are pokies taking away slice of ill gotten gains? It would be a very small slice. There is the odd idiot who steals from work and feeds an addiction I can thin off, but people who are involved in serious ill gotten gain activities aren't interested in the pokies.

The rest of your post makes sense.

Yep it was Norwood Oval, we were a few points up anyway so it didn't cost us the game. Robbie Young played full forward.

It was at this game that Kane Cornes wife was targeted by Redleg supporters when she got up to get a drink or whatever. Cornes was livid about it

but all cRowie said was nothing to see here, passionate game this Aussie rules and IF this happened then totally out of character. So out of character that their

supporters around the Cooper's kiosk on the Eastern side were yelling obscenities thru' out the game especially after 1/2 time when the drink started to kick in.

Pack of arrogant entitled assholes. Sweet win that one and on the way back to my car my PB jumper attracted the usual f**k off outta OUR sanfl.
