'I can smell winters coming' 21h ago, not sure if general comment or watches GoT...

I wonder who's idea it was to graffiti their pre game conference room with a lazy eyed Crow?
It's great. Just what you want to get players calm and composed before a game, a mural with heavy clouds and a screeching crow. Obviously aimed at getting pre/post match footage out there for their fans, but is (yet) another indication of they are about spin first and foremost. Appeal to/impress the fans firstly and worry about any negatives for the players mindset after (if at all).

Contrast with how all the things Port has done as a club with the 3 K's to improve the players, whilst granting access to the fans.

This is why I hope the Crows start to get a few wins..is a tough trade off. Love seeing them lose, comedy gold, but don't want them getting a high draft pick. Finishing around 10th is ideal.
9th or 10th. No finals and preferably a run up from 12th or so in the last few weeks as bottom 6 sides send everyone off to surgery. So-so picks, plus false impression of almost good enough already for finals off of easy games, so they don't overhaul the list too much. As hilarious as it would be for them to loss to the Saints I hope they win this weekend to take the immediate risk of them doing something productive off the table. Then a lose at home against GWS to ensure their crowds are lower than ours before some more token wins against poor opposition is my ideal 2014 for Adelaide.

False advertising. Her small pic it looks like potentially hot, click on it to enlarge and a 5 or 6.

Good from afar but far from good.

If you have to learn PR at uni then you probably are in the wrong career. You either instinctively get it or you don't, you can't learn common PR sense. What do they teach you? Start a campaign on twitter and facebook and the website, tie it altogether with a hashtag and push it via members and sms's to members? What else is there to ****ing learn that you wouldn't learn going straight into PR from High School.

lol the main board from a carlton supporter:

"I have a feeling next year will be one too many for Drew Petrie even though he one year into a two year deal. Perhaps Brett Rutten has stayed too long"

lol brett rutten.

Unfortunately he did do good blanketing jobs on Wayne Treadray.

Wow cRowey blaming injuries for their poor form says Vanberlol's absence is the equivalent of Geelong missing Selwood :drunk:
EXCELLENT

I laffed so hard I think I shat a little ...

Why do they spend so much time talking about the second bottom team on the ladder?

You just have to laugh. In any other state 5AA management would be before a Human Rights tribunal for letting the mentally disabled make a fool of themselves on air once. Only in SA would you allow it to not only be done once, but reward with their own show.

Thats harsh, I like to see it as "equal" bottom :-)

That Clark bloke who plays for Melbourne has just retired from AFL. Wow something really messed up is happening in his private life. It's not everyday one ends up on an AFL list.

Best of luck to him in getting his life together but gee whiz another awful trade with little return for Melbourne, though in saying that the pick the Dees gave up did little good for Brisbane who recruited Docherty who's now at Carlton.

I feel for a friend of mine who supports them he seems more depressed/disilliusioned with how they're run than I was during our darkest era which speaks volumes of where they're at as a club.

Not meaning to be insensitive whatsoever here...

But with Clark gone they'd have a lot of cap space. Would it be in their best interests to keep Frawley or get rid of him and free up ever more space and go after two big names? Clark was on 700K and Frawley would have been 4 to 5 (given he wants 8 I'd say around this mark).

Apparently he wants $800k, but I can't see any club offering that, he's simply not worth it, even at inflated FA prices.
Would imagine Melbourne would try to keep him, but will certainly be throwing big wads of cash at any player that looks their way.
