Yeah, Hawkins would have looked liked Toby Thurstans after a pre-season under Burgo.Burgess would of put Hawkins on the next season of the Biggest Loser before he got a game here anyway

I think Sam's rebuttal of "come for a look" was great. It's not like Gibbs will be getting any touches this week anyway.um, I'm no fan of twitter, i think any player who uses it (which seems to be all of them) is pretty stupid.. but i don't understand how some of you guys think Colquhoun's tweet was great and a burn while Gibbs sweated on a reply for 2 days before hitting back..
i also don't understand how it's on the afl.com.au website but that's another story...

I think other people (i loved it) thought that it took him too long to form a comeback.yeah, for sure... no doubt - I guess I think my point was I don't see how you can think Colquhuoon's tweet(s) were great, but Gibbs' were lame and a 'Constanza jerk-store' comment..
they were all in the same spirit, so you give them wraps for them all, or for none
Still think Dangerfield is off to Victoria, just not to Geelong. More brown and gold and less blue and white.
Wouldn't that be because he wasn't dropped earlier?I think other people (i loved it) thought that it took him too long to form a comeback.

The funny bit was the that Gibbs, one of the more well known players in the league, was still hanging on to the hurt from an off the cuff tweet from a Port Adelaide fringe player several days later, to the point where he saw that he was dropped and went in to have another crack.
It would be pretty embarrassing if Blaine Boekhorst made a comment to Robbie Gray over twitter and several days later, Gray felt the need to have a crack back about something totally unrelated to have the last word.
The rustled jimmies are so chumpy you can carve it.
another crack ?
as far as I saw, wasn't that the first time Gibbs responded..?
anyway, I don't really care about it, but it's funny how apparently Sam's a champ but Gibbs' jimmies are rustled....

it would break bigfooty pretty quickly, too
Or you could be reading too much into Gibbs response, maybe he was just looking at the teams and saw Sam was dropped and thought it would be funny to pay him one back. I doubt Gibbs would have been stewing over Sam's tweet waiting for a chance to get redemption. The funny bit was the that Gibbs, one of the more well known players in the league, was still hanging on to the hurt from an off the cuff tweet from a Port Adelaide fringe player several days later, to the point where he saw that he was dropped and went in to have another crack.

Who'd have thought that after all the hullabaloo Adelaide actually dodged a bullet by missing out on him on the father-son.
