Thanks mate.

She will be greatly missed. Now with her #10.

even though i only met them briefly, your folks both went out of their way to be welcoming and encouraging to a youngster new to the club. Always had the time to stop whatever they were doing and have a quick chat. Legends, both of them.

Hope your dad and the rest of the family are holding up ok.

Round 9 Tips

Old Ivanhoe and Williamstown a very close encounter but Ivanhoe will eventually break Free Willy to lose
Caulfield at home against the aging Hampton
Old Cs to win against far Kew
Old Mentonians the second best team Caulfield has played to beat Jascaves flag favourite and the third worst team Caulfield has played in Marcellin
Old Haileybury to beat the negative tactics side of OG
Now if all this happens there will be 4 sides Gawn for 2017 being OG Marcellin Hampton and far Kew

What say you 2411

Well Max, Ivanhoe turned up yesterday and far to good for Williamstown across ground

Scruff your theory will have to wait a couple more weeks as Prem C has continued to throw curve balls for all team mid table

Yes, very happy with the result yesterday, but we need to put it into some perspective.

Both clubs were wearing arm bands for people who were taken too young. It was very courageous of the Willy's two's player to front up, and when he kicked the 2nd goal of the game, those in the know have shivers down their spine.

2411 your right. Marcellin and OGs totally confused the bottom of the 4 yesterday...and although I thought OI would beat Willy at home it changes things up a bit..

Hampton very disappointing yesterday there skipper stood up but Caulfield were very undermanned in the size bracket yesterday and then lost a key back early in the game yet totally pummelled them our mid field clearances in the first half were extraordinary .

Unfortunately the clash against OH next week won't be a true test as Caulfield lose a heap of players going OS and the injury toll keeps climbing....but that's amateur footy and why there playing it ...

Interest week in C Land.

Two top teams playing each other.
Two bottom teams playing each other
4th and 5th playing each other
7 & 8 and 3 & 6

OH lose they then come back to the pack a little. Caulfield lose then its all about injuries and travel. ;)
OC win they jump one stop and OI could lose 2 stops.
Willy lose to Marc (2nd trip up north in a week), OI could take 3rd. Marc win, they will jump to at worst 5th.
OG or Mentone lose and Hampton win, gives the boys from the Boss a sniff of staying in C.

PS. What's with ruckman about to play OI getting reported. R. Campbell may be in some trouble.

Very crude act from a remorseful Campbell. Wrapped up one of our smallest players, whistle blew and then he slung him to the ground. Fair bit of remonstration following the act. Fortunately he is about 120 kilos so going on with it after the game is not really an option!

He apologised, which was accepted by the other bloke involved, but feels like a 2-3 week suspension is a certainty.

Max take it to the bank that the future will be on display for the Fields this week....a very young side against the bigger bodies of the ex B Land of OH ....

Amazing to see that Andrew Brazzale was held goalless over the weekend for the first time this season according to the scribe. Couldn't be that it was because he broke his thumb and popped his shoulder out, both in the first ten minutes, could it?

Still didn't jag a major but.

Firstly, Kew didn't get the ball into their forward line till well past the 10 minute mark of Q1.
So, very brave of the Braz to carry the injuries into the game.
Even braver that he is back on the field in Q2 (having played the full first quarter).

I know the club is going badly, but best not to make up things.

I think now you are the one who is being particularly loose with the truth. Still don't see your point. He popped his shoulder out in the first ten minutes, broke his thumb during the game as well and clearly did not play after his minor rendezvous on the ground in the 2nd term.

He's a tough man, but playing through a broken thumb and a dislocated shoulder doesn't exactly render a man very effective. Congratulations for claiming a tiny victory in semantics.

Have fun with 5th.
Actually broke his thumb at the 5.05 minute mark of the 1st quarter.

Video shows him on the ground throughout Q1, up to 8.40 of Q2 when he hurts his shoulder. Looked to be in a lot of pain.
