There is no scope for people to have fun in today's modern society. As soon as you post anything that is even slightly controversial, you open yourself up to the ridicule of anyone and everyone who refuses to understand the subtlety of humour. It used to be the great Aussie iconic larrikin style that everyone tried to take the pish out of each other.

Now in modern Australia, we take offence at everything.

Ever heard of anyone having some fun , it was more than him , if you take that serious , there's more than one sandwich short
It diminishes the real player re signs. When you get the important post about re signing then they post AI videos it looks silly

You need to have a sense of the absurd and a sense of humour. It is the Aussie way. The Ormond footy club are more than just a football team. We are a community and we support each other. Luke Breust is part of our community whether he plays or not. The Ormond football club post for our community who are all in on the joke, not for outsiders who think they know everything about everything and have no sense of humour or no Aussie style of understanding how men take the mickey out of each other. This is what makes the Ormond football club great. We are for each other and are a real community.

You would think he might be apart of the coaching panel then? If a player like Breust is around the club then Ormond are set for the year and could even grab a few of his mates to play?

Small steps. Luke has other things he wants to do with his life and also some travel, but I am sure he will be there when the whips are cracking in the season, Luke's input will be invaluable. As far as new recruits are concerned and Luke's involvement there. Watch this space!

Jezza and anyone else posting about Breust. For the last time, he has done his knee and isn't playing anywhere. He might have played a few games for Ormond in 2026 given his Hawthorn connection to Jason Burt who is the Ormond President. He has taken an Asst Coaching job with Richmond in 2026. I doubt he will even walk his dog on the Gunn in 2026.

In actual news, I hear the "Nathan Jones" rule will be elevated to a lofty 3 games in 2026.

The Jones rule should be 4 and must play at least 1 before the cut off
Jezza seems to follow the parody everywhere

looks like PEGS have lost a key player.... ruckman Adeola has been poached by Hillside in the EDFL
that's a huge loss. He is 6ft 7 and just about won every ruck contest for the year. He set up PEGS mids to have first use which is especially vital on their home "very windy" ground underneath the landing planes at Tullamarine.
