Based on the last game, Ballas has held his spot (for those saying drop him). Based on his general away form for close to 10 years, he should never play in Melbourne ever again. Therein lies the conundrum. However, this isn't a game of "how low can you go" on games played / average age, so he should probably stay, just to make sure we have more than just a handful of adults out there.

In: Fyfe, Hughes (now that Johnson has deselected himself getting rubbed out in the WAFL).

Duman is unlucky, but he surrendered his spot to Nyhuis, who went on to play well, and Hughes had a good enough game at Peel to creep ahead of him. Also Ethan has slightly more experience.

I'd give Sandi another week off running up to the bye, and let Jones have another run. Sure he has his MANY limitations, but he has been going okay, so let him go, and Sandi can come back in for him in a couple of weeks.

Geez, Carlton board are very confident of a win. Our away form looks bad but all of our away games have been against top 8 sides.

Carlton are a different beast, they have very few good players, a couple of promising kids and a whole lot of spuds. Didn't even realise Daisy Thomas was still playing!

Our midfield should comfortably win the clearance battle. Kruiser and Cripps are there only hope in the middle. As long as we lower our eyes on the weekend we should win comfortably.

Honestly I do want Sandi to play. Kreuzer up and about at full steam is huge for Carlon and I want to get the win. Plus this:

The only other concern is Curnow with Pearce out.
