I watched the Hibberd retirement speech in the other thread just now... the phrase 'unconditionally competes' rang out probably a bit louder than it would have for the intended audience.

Game was won on the back of that elite pressure in the first 10 minutes. Saints couldn't find room to breathe let alone set up the play. Kicked away with those early goals and the buffer proved decisive.

Like others have said above, I hope the AFLM squad in the crowd were watching closely: they could learn a thing or two.
