However the biggest concern for the coaches will be what to do with Bolton. He’s just a selfish player. I’m not sure how you manage a guy like this. We clearly need his talent and ability on the field, but his attitude is not at the level right now. If feels like we have 22 guys out there buying into the team mentality then there is this one guy doing whatever he likes whether it’s to the benefit of the team or not. It VERY nearly cost us tonight. Have seen it before in plenty of other sports even - that kind of shit wears very thin, very fast, with the other players.

I think he is actually trying too hard. He loved being at the club is trying to do the impossible too often.

Needs to relax a bit and realise he doesn’t need to win the game off his own boot.

Suspect he will have a massive finals series.

We have a really bad quarter atm and the game falls apart.

We had them at our mercy and as Derm said in the 1st quarter in last 5 mins the only issue for Fremantle is too confidence.

Port were pretty pathetic in that 1st quarter so its a shame we forced ourselves into another dogfight.

I reckon 5 mins into the last you could tell we were going to run them down. It was just unable to knock out the killer blow when we got 5 in front for about 5 mins.

Erasmus had one of his better games.
Fyfe was a big difference coming on midway through the 3rd

Less said about the umpires.

This is the year. The two best teams with proven experience and outcomes are losing to rubbish teams, have some discontent and injuries, and seem quite beatable.

The main threat, the Crows, don’t have the experience. They’ve really overachieved. They’re not that great.

Fremantle are in form, Fremantle’s best is very good, and for once in the club’s history there’s no injuries (sans Young) crippling the team at an important time of the year.

This is that Bradbury, 2016 Bulldogs opportunity.

Please, please, please just do it.

Get Young back and Fyfe injury free and Bradbury is a chance IMO.

Play like that next week and Brisbane tonk us by 15 goals.

What really summed up the game was Patrick Voss explaining to the umpire what constitutes a mark as though the umpire had just stepped off a plane.

What a ****ing shitshow.

I was so surprised they paid that mark to Serong.
