With Keays you could easily replace him with Maley when we have Rachelle, Rankine, Oedlar, Soligo and ANB all running around the forward halfYou could just as easily do the same with Keays.
But he's unlikely to be replaced by a 197cm forward.

If you dont think he should be under some pressure then thats not very bright either. He’s kicked 4 goals to start the season with shit ball movement, he’s also not our go to forward, it’s TT and Tex. No chance he gets dropped and it’s a dumb suggestion.
Fog with a burst in the centre ??Personally I would lean in to leaving Soligo out to find fitness, second options would be Pedlar or Keays.
I for one wouldn't want to see Pedlar out. His bash through 2 tackles and dish off to Tex is the argument to why we should be giving him bursts through the centre not dropping him.
I would give Fog a burst through the centre early in games to get his hands on it similar to Thilthorpe too.

3 of 4 were gifts? Cmon that’s nonsense as is the suggestion a key forward averaging 2 goals a game is under threat of being dropped. If you dont think he should be under some pressure then thats not very bright either.
The whole "hes not out go to forward" is just lazy. Watch Hawthorn and how they work their 3 talls, theyre always moving and theyve always got one high up the field hitting up at the short kick. So too Brisbane.
There was a lot of vision of Fog on Friday leading back toward goal expecting blokes to kick the ball 80m over his head.
Yeah he's kicked 4 goals but 3 of the 4 were gifts.
Hes surviving on his ridiculous conversion rate, not on his good form.3 of 4 were gifts? Cmon that’s nonsense as is the suggestion a key forward averaging 2 goals a game is under threat of being dropped.
7 score involvements as well ….Hes surviving on his ridiculous conversion rate, not on his good form.
Im not suggesting we drop him but he looks unfit, he looks lazy and id be interested to see how he goes without Tex in the side seen as thats apparently why we havent seen the best of him.
Less than Jake Soligo then.7 score involvements as well ….
This will be close but Bond will come in for Laird as I am guessing he has recovered from his illness.I answered this elsewhere but briefly, Laird out. Cumming to half back.
Nank to Cummings wing
Ah Chee out. Marsh to add dynamic alternative.
Soligo out. Edwards in to help Berry provide some speed with muscle in the guts.
But... I see we're debuting Finbarr so there goes my theory. I guess we'll just rely on getting an outrageous amount of contested marks.
Tex only misses if he's injured, he doesnt need a rest after 2 games. This will be close but Bond will come in for Laird as I am guessing he has recovered from his illness.
I think Jones will hold his spot for Ah Chee, given he had 22 at 73%.
Finbar comes in for Tex, due for a rest, leaving us with 1 spot, hoping they give it to Marsh
Bond - Butts - Michallaney
Worrell - Murray - Milera
Cumming - Dawson - Cook
Keays - Thilthorpe - ANB
Rachele - Fogarty - Maley
McAndrew - Rankine - Berry
Peatling - Jones - Pedlar - Soligo - Marsh*
So what do you make of Ben Keays form? Only kicked goals in 4 of his last 8 matches, and only six in total.
That's after kicking 32 goals in his first 19 games of 2025
Form hasnt been great, finals series was awful (not alone there). So what do you make of Ben Keays form? Only kicked goals in 4 of his last 8 matches, and only six in total.

lol, 7 last game, which was more than SoligoLess than Jake Soligo then.
Fogarty has had 6 shots on goal, theres most of his score involvements.

1 more.lol, 7 last game, which was more than Soligo![]()
lol, 2 more, but that’s not the point. You got it wrong, just accept that than dig the hole further.1 more.
One more than a bloke you want dropped.
Hmmm doesn't seem to make sense does it.
Luckily decisions aren’t being made on 2 games with at least 21 to go on a 36 year old. He started off better last year and struggled in lots of game.
Yep happy to put my hand up there.lol, 2 more, but that’s not the point. You got it wrong, just accept that than dig the hole further.
Ones a mid, ones a forward, different roles. Fog had one less possession than Soligo, hmmm doesn’t seem to make sense does it.
Yep happy to put my hand up there.
So youre happy with how Fog is going ??
And no I'm not happy with Soligo at the moment and ive mentioned that numerous times. But I dont see why Fog gets a free pass for being very ordinary.
I just dont think he's in great form at the moment, not that its a long term issue. You're making many of the same arguments that I've been making for the last 5-6 years, resulting in me being labelled as a Fog hater. In reality, I'm just disappointed that a player with Fog's talent is failing to live up to his potential. I certainly don't hate him, and wish he could achieve everything he is capable of achieving.
And Geelong coming off the bye.
A forward averaging 2 goals and 6 score involvements a game is not going very ordinary nor largely anonymous. That equates to 46 goals a year, you’d take that every day of the week.Yep happy to put my hand up there.

Shhhh! Fog's girlfriend, STO, gets all huffy if you suggest that her boyfriend is anything other than a perfect Demi-God Footballer. Any suggestion that Fog is in any way flawed brings her storming in, with a force 10 temper tantrum.
