A pretty good test today. North have improved particularly offensively, and they kicked accurately. It allowed us to feel some pressure which we haven't so far, and see where some holes are.
Clarkson didn't allow us to play our uncontested mark game which we had in the first two games but we won in a different way. We were -8 in contested ball at half time but finished +12. Turned it around.
Peatling, Soligo and Worrell excellent, Curtin building, and Thilthorpe the difference. Dawson held out of it so we needed to work harder across the field.
O'Brien, Milera and Sholl were exposed. We don't even need a dominant ruck, just one that isn't a liability.
There is talent performing in the SANFL. We're beyond "working hard" and "being a good team mate" as a selection priority - this will be Nicks' big test moving forward I think.

3-0 at 160% is all we can do so far, but will need to play better in the midfield to beat Gold Coast.

Struggled in a lot of areas today but just worked North into the ground. If we're being honest they were never in it, they only got close early due to some charity frees in front of goal.
Few things to work on for next week though, Gold Coast will be a much bigger test

I thought that Hinge, Rankine and Soligo were very good.
Fog got two goals but he was beaten a lot, Milera also didn't do much.

Ugly game. Ground out the 4 points comfortably after being challenged for a while. Plenty of players far below their best but still enough of them did enough to get the job done.
Good to get a bit of a reality check before the Suns up north which is a genuine danger game now.

Lots of turnovers and skill errors...
Dont think we looked particuarly good at all... Lots of of better playrs off...
Still, maturity there, we 'won ugly' and aside from Rachele no real injuries.

A lot of players off their game so still win by 40 is amazing.
Curtain’s best game - stood up and made an impact.
Two goals for Draper. Kid belongs.
Kept Roos to under a 100? Media will be happy.
The team seems to have ‘gears’ where they can pull away in short periods.
Not sure Borlase is the answer. Hopefully Butts can step up.

Tex doubters ate rocks today, he's playing forever.
Hinge BOG for me.
Peatling better in second half today.
Laird solid across half back.

Soligo excellent.
Murray was a pretty big out I think. Definitely vulnerable in defence and there are other teams who might expose that more. Borlase just doesn't look like an AFL player even if we was okay on Darling, and Keane was pretty average.
Good win though, thought Hinge, Laird and Peatling were particularly impressive. Forward line continues to be incredibly dangerous even short Rachele, and Curtin had easily his best game and had a notable hand in the win.
Thilthorpe was outrageously good aside from one moment where he should have definitely taken a set shot and tried to pass to Keays instead.
The class we have through the middle of the ground is really impressive too, there were multiple moments today where guys like Rankine and Soligo took a non-obvious option and nailed it to set up a scoring opportunity, where a safer option would have just resulted in a stoppage. Probably the biggest difference from previous years.

havent dropped a quarter all season. that in itself is fantastic.
thought peatling was good after getting the butter off his fingers. rankine looks great in midfield. laird and soligo good with ball in hand. hinge bursting through half back, curtin doing it all over the ground. talls still kicking goals.
thought keane had a bit of a shocker, milera too. hope rash is alright. fog had a stinker.

But... so have we! 2024 Crows would have lost to 2025 Kangaroos.
