Where did I, or anyone, say it was a top notch game? Our forward players didn't get a lot of opportunities but Pedlar was somewhat influential in the first half and very quiet in the second. I'd say it was okay at most, but not awful and he wouldn't be in my list of worst players for the night.

No please take a moment and try to read - my initial post was defending Pedlar in a comparison as a footballer to Murphy.

I agree he needs to increase his disposals of the ball but if we are comparing Pedlar to Murphy [which we are] his 7 disposals are worth 14 of Murphy’s - did he ever do that?

I just gave you a video example. He won an important contest on the wing, setting up a goal which relatively few players would have been able to set up, when we were well behind in the game. It was the first Adelaide goal.

Thanks for confirming you have no idea how can you advocate for Jones who played one of the worst defensive games wearing a Crows jumper.

Yeah the difference Mrs Pedlar is that 7 disposals is a rare off day for Rankine, whereas 7 disposals is every week for Lazy Luke.

All Top 15 draft picks and players who should be entering their prime.

Not good enough, but does raise questions about our ability to develop maximise talent on the list.

Jones however has no weapons or footy IQ, and the other two don't seem to have questionable work rate / mentalities.
