We lost because the effort wasn't there defensively in the midfield and wasn't there on the ground ball in defence.

Ugly:
Giving up 5 goal leads because we can't handle red time.

Absolute junk:

Handball chains ending with ROB
Any voluntary disposal directed to ROB

One KPD, who hasn't played 100 games of footy in his life, was absolutely stupidity.

ROB hopeless as well.

We're not going to win a flag under Nicks.

Dawson has made some appalling errors this game. Not good enough from a player of his calibre.

No plan B from Nicks. Did anyone spot anything different? I get Tex was on fire first half but off a 5 day break you cant carry him the whole match. He wasnt alone in being gassed though

Geelong thoroughly deserved that. What a professionally well prepared outfit.

It's so obvious that our biggest issue is the coaching, still.

Our setup all year really has been that we'd concede goals, but then punch you in the face the other way based on pure forward half talent, not because of good coaching. That is completely unsustainable.

It'd take composure and some tweaks in the second half tonight to win, because Geelong are well coached.

Our coaches aren't that smart. Nicks also mentioning the 5 day break at every opportunity, and then the players mentioning it repeatedly, just rams home that fact - considering he was offered the extended quarter time and half time breaks and refused them. It's either dumb, arrogant, or both.

You can see they were very fatigued after half time. Screw the afl, how hard can it be to schedule the game shop they can have at least 6 days breaks.

Hinge had a shocker, worst game ever.
Sholl need to be dropped.
