Rating the upcoming draft

I know bugger all about this years crop of draft hopefuls beside vague youtube knowledge about Talia and a few forwards and Butcher.

Can someone educate me and others as to who they think will go top 20 and what position they play. I'd like to begin to get an idea of what quality we might pick up at 14 and if there is a case for trading up our pick, giving away 2nd pick, and so on.

I get the feeling Hine only rates the very top end.

I know very little about this draft as well. I watched some of the Under 18s when it was on, and noticed a few guys. Forgotten their names, but I created a thread.

I noticed two guys from Tassie, Harwood and Green. Green is too young for the draft though, I really liked the look of him.

I saw your youtube posts on those boys Matty and to be frank only Talia looked much chop to me. If the others were the best available tall forward options then I'd be looking to trade for a ruck or established forward, or take best player available.

Problem is I don't know what else might be available at that point.

The draft camp is on next week, so the results from that usually are the last indicator as to who will go first round.

Also the TAC Cup GF is this Friday, and we all know we love the big game performers at Collingwood. (Sidebottom and Thomas).

I think Matthew Panos looks good just my opinion. He looks like a straight kick and reasonably solid for his age. I've heard about someone named Gysberts but not sure about him

Gysberts is a reasonable prospect. Some rate him, some not so much. Will probably be in contention around our selection if we keep it.

What about Jake Lorraine? heard differing opinions on him, quite versatile and strong up forward but some say could be over rated, anyone?

Had 2 meetings with Hardwick so far and looks promising for a rookie spot.

Those seem to be the popular picks at the moment for around pick 14.

First 2 are rucks/tall forwards, 3rd is a tall mid.

Yeah like the look of any kid who has that application to defensive aspects of the game shows discipline and the ability to work hard.

Yeah I just posted some more midfielders vids today - both the ones outside our reach and others that are more likely to be at our picks. Sorry can't give you anything else - I'd love for some of the draft watchers to give their input and opinions on some of these guys as they get to watch them live. I'm restricted to youtube videos and piecing together what i've read on them.
