Considering how we've seemed to shut up shop this offseason, it's been interesting that we've heard from all the parties involved. 1. All the stories have matched up. 2. They've all been quite open about what happened. 3. Rory appears to be well and truly over it now, conceded that PW was right and has been taking steps to rectify what was pointed out to him as (not necessarily) a weakness (but more as something to keep improving) in his lack of mentorship.

On a slightly different note, thank you Red mist for your Oceans 11 moment and thank you The Sloane Ranger for your Forest Gump moment. Both gave me early morning chuckles.

Still I don't think sloane was pissed off, I though he's always said tex was the one he's go into battle with? Disappointed maybe, but I don't think there's any evidence to suggest it's at tex.

The appointment raised eyebrows in all quarters and as part of the process there was always goung to be engagement with the other members of the leadership group on the decision of the Captaincy

the fact that these discussions were open and robust does demonstrate a healthy and mature leadership group which we are seeing onfield

I thought it was fantastic he rang Walsh and told him what he would bring to the captaincy and how much he wanted to do it.

I've never really rated rucks as important as KPP and elite playmakers in the modern game. Controversial, I know. Having said that I'm glad we have a good one but mainly for the extra he contributes round the ground.

Brad isn't there yet. Still needs to get through a whole season or two uninterrupted.
