Ok so probably nothing sinister, like contract stuffI think more that PD spoke with them last year at the event and was excellent - joking around, etc

'There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know'
Are those baskets full of corgis?
if we won a premiership this year (not likely), I would think he would be more inclined to leave.I could be very wrong however I just sense that there is something else at play with this entire situation, my reasons for thinking this:
1. When players like Buddy, Scully and Ablett were holding out to end of season there was also visible tension between club and player, however here both club and player seem very relaxed and comfortable with the situation at hand.
2. Danger is very strong in his role in the AFLPA and with this role he holds strong views on player rights and entitlements and maybe he is using his contract situation as a platform or vehicle to push a broader agenda that players are contracted for a fix term and shouldn't be feel the need to be rushed to make decisions on their future until the contract is due to expire.
3. People talk about where there is smoke there is fire, with this there has been a few reports suggesting Danger has signed a two year extension. To me this would seem to ne the most logically decision. Commercially it positions him to test the market as a unrestricted FA at the peak of his powers and maybe with this B&F and Brownlow around his neck. In terms of success it gives him two more seasons to ride the AFC journey as our premiership window is opening
One thing is for sure Danger is his own man and with that maybe there is something below the surface that is not totally visible to us that is steering this process and timing
Just my thoughts
Posted this earlier in the thread.if we won a premiership this year (not likely), I would think he would be more inclined to leave.
thoughts?
Kreuzer needs to show a bit more gratitude to Carlton after the patience they've shown with him. Not to mention the fact that they gave up Jacobs so they could continue to give him opportunities to play.
Am I the only person here that thinks Kruez would be only worth an end of 2nd round pick? He hasn't done jack all for a few years now ..Gratitude? Carlton are desperate to get him out the door. Bear in mind that they won the wooden spoon, so they already have pick 1 in the draft. If Kruezer leaves as a free agent, and the contract from his new club is fat enough to get them a 1st round compensation pick, that will get them pick 2 in the draft as well as pick 1. That is WAY more than Kruezer is actually worth, so they would be helping him pack his bags.

But seriously, at his peak he wouldn't even have been worth an end of first imo. Frawley only was because the AFL didn't want to give the Demons a priority pick. That was rubbish too anyway..Thats understandable because Jack has refused to buy him dinner first!

That'll be cosy.So today at work one of my work mates was saying her husband is friends with mardi's father. And that mardi's father is renovating a place in Geelong ready for danger and mardi to move in next year.
Just annoyed me that she started off the conversation with dangerfield is gone!

Im sure the club is well aware, which is why they're not commenting on it.These are the things that will ultimately turn sour for Dangerfield should he leave.
"I haven't thought about it/haven't made a decision", yet all these stories are surfacing where it sounds like he's already let his intentions know to everyone else but the club.
Oh Robbo would definately want to ask him that as well, but I do recall last year Robbo being rather rapt with the crosses to DangerOk so probably nothing sinister, like contract stuff
And Murphy...Yep, Kruezer has never lived up to his number 1 hype. Kind of like Gibbs
