Consistent interpretation of weeks earlier, tackle didn't stick so it's play on.

I'm not a fan of it only because if someone lays a finger on you when you run and bounce, it's deemed dropping the ball. So what's the difference?

I commend the consistency but dislike the interpretation. At the end of the day the tackler is less rewarded these days to promote the ball being kept in play. This is probably why we do not prioritise tackling and instead try to turn on enough pressure to intercept the possession and then spread. On a HTB free kick both teams run the same way. When you intercept there's avenues to exploit the oppo not being set up behind the footy.
