Queensland is the new Victoria as far as AFL goes and Victorians hate WA. They will not allow us fu** all even if it costs the AFL a sh*t load of money.Even if it makes the AFL grand final (The jewel in the AFLs crown ,the most watched game overseas and in Australia) look like a stale queensland turd in a third world sh*t bucket the grand final will not be in WA. And the Victorians will call it a great success .Thats the mentality they have.

It could be, NSW had pretty severe restrictions, more severe than anything we’ve had and it didn’t stop the virus from spreading from Victoria there. They weren’t allowed to travel more than 5km from their homes or something similar, we never reached that level of restriction.

The hard border has helped us no doubt but the biggest thing that has stopped the outbreak here is our isolation from the rest of Australia. The fact that we’re closer to Singapore than the Eastern Seaboard has stopped other states spreading it here by and large, I don’t think it can be put 100% down to the hard border.

I am filthy that the AFL is choosing not to reward their traditional market, the one that supports them year in year out, instead finding any excuse not to hold the GF in Perth or Adelaide. Gil “we’re for the fans” can GAGF.

A St. Kilda win keeps us in the 4 but puts them further ahead of us. Geelong win puts us out of the 4 on percentage but also leaves with with a game in hand on the other top 4 teams.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other really. We just need to keep winning and it’ll keep our fate in our own hands. We’re in a good spot right now.
