Typically classless Purples fans on Twitter relishing the news that Haggers has been injured in an accident. The chip on their collective shoulder is really quite incredible.

Dockers twitter is like normal purple supporters on roids, just next level inferiority.

Imagine being 5-0 and making 6 changes

Bevo is something different
This is why I don't rate him, too clever for his own good. This will backfire big time.

At this stage, I have them as clogging up top two at the end of the year, ala Geelong/Brisbane of recent years. Will be surprised if they even make a prelim.

I was going through some old clothes last year and found the ticket to that game still in my jumper pocket. We thumped the crows after a long string of losses, was Wirra's 200th too iirc.
I was at that game too, just moved back to Perth and went with my Crows-supporting future wife. Good times (for me lol).

Wouldn't mind going back and watching some games from that 2008-2010 peroid.

I remember hating football in 2008. I was so convinced we would be a top 8 team even if we didnt have Cuz or Judd that after each loss i got more and more angry about it haha. Some highs were thinking Ben McKinley was our next forward superstar, seeing a lot of players debut: Ebert, Scooter, Masten, Spangher, Davis, Maister, JK, Houlihan ... Some goodand some not!
All i remember is that game tom swift tore apart in 2009 and well you campaigners know what.happens.next

Gotta look at who went out vs who went in though.

Also, 2 of those changes were forced.

...thinking Ben McKinley was our next forward superstar

I remember being super pissed that spud king himself Rhys Palmer was the rising star that year, rather than a second year forward who kicked 42 goals. If you look through the list of vote getters in the rising star that year though, it's pretty obvious that not only did I have no clue, neither did any of the voters. For the record nominated players to get a vote: Rhys Palmer (44 votes), Cyril Rioli (37), Trent Cotchin (21), Matthew Kreuzer (11), Garrick Ibbotson (7), Ben McKinley (6), Cale Morton (3), Alipate Carlile (2), Austin Wonaeamirri (1).

I find the criticism of worsfold taking on a mentoring role so baffling.

Are head coaches meant to not access support where they need it? Teague is obviously having some issues with an underperforming group- and has reached out to an external source that he trusts for help.

Being a senior coach must be one of the loneliest jobs in the world when things aren’t going well. I think it’s great Carlton are supporting him.

You only have to look at the "outrage" over the DPP spending money on the support dog from the guide-dog association.

The average punter is a mug.

Tim Watson had it out for Woosha big time when he was coach of essendon. Woosh got Tim's nose out of joint when he said publicly that a big part of Essendon's problems are that they haven't accepted they can't just buy their way into a good list anymore and that there are too many ex-players and powerbrokers influencing how the club is run.

He came on Talking Footy about two years ago for an interview just after Watson had been going at him for weeks in the media. It was brilliant viewing, Woosh brought that quiet intense energy he has, where it felt like he was going to reach over and smash him at any point. Watson was shitting himself and walking on eggshells trying to avoid triggering him. The other hosts thought it was hilarious.
