Second play through and already done the medium level
honestly i don't think this game can really be appreciated unless on hardcore mode

I can only play the game limited time when the kids are asleep. I managed to get the hand gun with unlimited ammo and trying for the machine gun with unlimited ammo now.

There is no way I'm even going to try for the mini gun or rocket launcher with unlimited ammo though. I can't see myself getting anywhere near completing the criteria.

I played through RE2 Remake and absolutely loved it. A bit of backtracking and confusion of where to go but damn it was so much fun. Thought of going full Scrooge and waiting for RE3 to come PS+ but in the end I bought it today for $13 on the ps store haha.

I had read that’s it’s a lot more linear than RE2 (which I can already see) and a lot shorter than 2. The ammo is more plentiful than 2 I have noticed and you start with a rifle and can get a shotgun within the first 20 minutes. So that’s going to be a real help lol. Enjoying it so far.

Ok so this campaigner terrifies me, have seem gameplay in a library where he just follows you and I got to that library and just didn't want to even progress.

The goal seems to be just to walk when he appears as he can’t hear your foot steps. But yeah, terrifying bastard who punches through walls right next to you lol.

I played a bit of this the other day just to see if it's something for me and if so then I'll keep it installed and get onto it next time I've got a break in releases. Last night I dreamt about being chased by Mr X but he was a cowboy.

About 3 hours in.

A lot of backtracking and figuring out where to go, which I don't hate (when zombies spawn in areas you've cleared out it's terrifying). I've jumped at least 15 times already so I can only play in small doses. I also keep running out of ammo and having to run away from zombies.

Haven't met Mr X yet.

Good game.

I was fine until he turned up. I played about half an hour and then never went back.

This was the game that showed me how soft I've gotten. I was playing Silent Hill from ~10, no issues. Now, this guy following me around a ****ing house? Absolutely not.

I will finish it someday.

I was able to play a fair chunk of Resident Evil 7 with that campaigner following me around the house. The only reason I didn't keep playing that game was because I got stuck on a boss fight with limited resources and kept dying.

That being said I might pack it in when Mr X shows up. I'm already nervous about it.

If you managed 7, Mr X won't be too bad.

Made it out the police station (thank ****). Into the sewers

The game changes dramatically. Way less scary now and easier to play. But **** that police station section was pretty amazing not gonna lie

Pretty amazing game. As someone who doesn’t like horror I hope capcom make more games like this. The open areas, lack of handholding. Fantastic game design.

Time to play remake 3 and 4 I reckon.
