Phillips being selected had a massive impact in the end. Scrappy game but great to keep fighting and get the win

Well, looks like we've found Heppell's position!

Jones needs to go down to VFL and learn to become the target, along with all the running.

AFL needs to play String and Voss as power forwards and resting ruck to be the kick down the line.

Also, Hayes is showing a lot in VFL, not sure if Laverde is doing enough to stay in the side.

If Davey is sore, Tippa played a full game in VFL, if Davey is right to go, give him another game.

Setters is doing so well in there, Parish with quick hands away from the contest and from Parish's hands we have Merrett's kicking and Shiel's run. Of course, our midfield is rounded out with Durham and Martin on the wings. We still need a bit more grunt in the midfield, and Hobb's ability to play a bit forward allows him and Caldwell to impact in forward line and at the stoppage.

Didn't think the umpiring had an impact on the game, but agree on the unpaid marks. Expect that'll be highlighted on the tapes when the umpires review their game through the week
