Can't wait for On The Couch tomorrow night. Hope GH needles him about it. You'll be able to see in his eyes how much it's burning him up.

2 interesting points from his 3AW coverage today ( Oh yeah, on that point - both Ch 7 and FS1 broadcast Melb vs Syd live into Qld - and I had to log onto streaming audio - thanks ________s!)
- the "telling statistic" that 96% of teams that score 6 unanswered goals go on to victory, as they say, there's lies, damned lies, and statistics
- a caller phoning in after the match asking Walls why he's so hard on Fisher ; the reply - "I'm a Carlton man, I would've loved to see him do well"

Tool and a half!

He will probably spin it to still make us sound bad. "A better side would have put Carlton away, should never have let them back in"

You could tell Robert Walls was bleeding, biting his tongue he had few negatives about Essendon surprisingly. He spoke about how Essendon has improved defensively (not necessarily backline), in a manner of words he said Carlton were too Fev-centric (Carlton went to him on 22 occassions, next was Fisher with 3), went on to say Lloyd virtually hadn't lost any of his ability to play but couldn't get the ball if the delivery wasn't there and since moving up the ground has gotten into the game and that he'd played very well for the past 2 weeks.

A further note, since round 8 our scored against average has gone from 133 to 106 (or thereabouts). He also said Monfries had played his best ever game, Hille was a great ruckman and that Carlton could learn from the way Essendon played.

P.S. Walls also said Buckley was a strong possibility of replacing Malthouse as Collingwood coach next season!

Yeah, what a flog. Put two coaches heads on the chopping block tonight. Malthouse and Mark Williams. I wonder which coach will need to be sacked next week. Heaven forbid Geelong lose next week, Thompson would need to be moved on.

He gave us nothing folks. Nothin'. The Sniveller. All he did was give us wet pockets, actually, from the praise as posted above.

Don't even think about jumping on this bandwagon, pal.

He also said that Fremantle need to drop their entire coaching staff and start a fresh, so looks like Harvey is gone from that episode as well.
