Luke Ryan and Sean Darcy named as emergencies. They must be getting close to a call up.

That's probably the best story to come out of this selection, young players being rewarded for good form so early in their careers.

Gives them that much more incentive to push for selection.

I'm glad the selectors didn't go with Sheridan over Tucker due to one game with high disposals.

Very impressive melt. Goes on for pages, struggled to keep up with the post coming so quickly and no defence of MacKay. Even DP gets someone defending him.
Just watch Mackay get best on ground now.

That would just make us angrier! The bloke was dropped for poor form before the Lions game, is then travelling emergency so plays no games last weekend, and is instantly back in the following week. Meanwhile, we have Wigg in the SANFL who had 38 touches last week and has been our best SANFL player for 2 years not even make the emergency list! If anyone on here can explain these selection decisions it would be greatly appreciated. :drunk:

We used to call that the Suban effect, but his golden ticket seems to have finally run out this year.

Adelaide fans carrying on whilst they're on too of the ladder reminds me of when us Freo fans carried on when we were on top of the ladder.

Ahhh memories.

As Han Solo said 20 years ago today "Never tell me the odds"

I think $6 is pretty generous. Adelaide are like WCE, if they turn up they are good, but if they need to fight for a win they struggle. We are every chance in this match, even without Sandi. I will admit, our last game in the city of Godforbid, was bad, we might just roll them.

To be original, I think (with a mustache and furrow brow) "This game, it will come down to the midfield". I cannot remember a back line getting credited for a win, even when key stops held Coleman medalists, so yeah lets run with the midfield battle. And without Dawson, we are not going to hold the likes of Tex and Jac and Basketcase#3 or there abouts. I think this will be closer than many think.

Would actually prefer to see Ryan in than Tucker. With Jenkins coming in, we could use another defender, especially one who can intercept mark and likes to kick it. If Tucker plays the usual 60% gametime, I just don't see the point in selecting him over Ryan.
