Talking points against Adelaide article on the official website is almost written in direct defiance of the West:

'A number of Freo stars did not train with the main group on Wednesday, but that’s not unusual after a tough game, particularly on the hard Etihad Stadium surface. Stephen Hill, Danyle Pearce and Luke McPharlin were on light duties, while Nat Fyfe and Matthew Pavlich did not train'.

It's not even good enough for that any more. Something changed with the paper they use a few years ago and now it's almost flame ******ant. You can't even use it to clean windows because the ink comes off too easily.

I lined the kitty litter tray with it; postmuthously my Cat took a dump on my limited edition Led Zeppelin IV mono.

I got the message.

One thing that us training watchers have picked up, and yet the press for some reason still haven't, is that the older guys or the guys who have pulled up sore from the weekend do not participate in the first training session of the week.

Hill and McPharlin will definitely play and I am 90% sure Nat Fyfe will as well.

Agree on the likelyhood of Hill and McPharlin playing but the chances of Fyfe playing are dependant on the ankle - which might have a mind of its own;)

Micky Barlow said on 882 this morning that Fyfey had been or was going windsurfing today.

I guess the old hoof can't be too bad then.

yeah, fyfeys a big kitesurfer apparently. which I'm a little concerned about, but hey, the guys allowed to have hobbies.
On the upside, WA is about as good as it gets for kiting in the summer, so it can only boost his chances of hanging around

Only ever gone kitesurfing once but it definitely suggests his ankle is fine, the act of constantly needing to adjust your balance really puts some strain on the ankles and I couldn't imagine him doing that if he stills suffered from discomfort.

Interesting that fyfe is a kitesurfer, must love living in one of the best kitesurfing locations on the planet.

I better not mention Silvagni in to go forward.Totally flamed on that one last week although it did make for some interesting posting.
I was half right until bounce down:( Hope Mike doesnt read this .I could be in line for some serious heart burn:D

Didn't follow the Silva forward story too much, was out in the country last week so had limited Internet access - this may have all been covered ... But do you think that the rather greasy conditions that came up at Etihad had anything to do with it, or was it just a bit of funny business from RTB and he was never a chance?

It's just a wild theory that if conditions were crisp and dry, Silvagni may have got the gig ahead of one of the smaller bodies - it seemed obvious that the coaching staff were reluctant to drop him outright.

He trained up forward too last week apparently.

Prefer our guys to have hobbies like reading Jane Austen with a cup of tea.

I heard that the Barnett had tried to get Cleaver contracted as more potent option to drum lines to cull the big pointers.Fyfey was keen but the club banned it.

At least the cat has good taste. Best band that ever was or will be (IMO).

Taking a dump on something isn't usually a sign of respect though.

As for the team, no changes I'd expect. Maybe SNOS/Tabs for Sheridan if they decide to go taller, but my gut feel is Sherro to move sideways for Ibbo.

Cats don't think like that though.
