Caldwell’s in his 5th year, he’s not a kid. He, McGrath and Heppell might as well be playing for West Coast.

It it was Tsatas or Hobbs you can accept it.

I'm not entirely sure I'd be impressed if it were McGrath and Heppell either. At least 'might as well be playing for West Coast' has some meat on the bones, implies it's an issue with turnovers rather than all but calling time on their careers without explanation.

Caldwell is of a similar level of development as Draper, Durham, Martin, Perkins, Jones, Cox, and to some extent Reid. They're almost full sized players but have had their share of injuries and impacts on their training, have played 1-2 proper seasons worth of footy and deserve some grace.
